TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES

My apologies to those that are not seeing the "Indian Brave" challenge post but only seeing the gallery entries.

I have no idea what happened but when I open Digital Whisper in Internet Explorer it is okay but when I open it with Mozilla the post disappears but the entries are there????

DREAMERS CHALLENGE FEB 21ST, VOGUE

This weeks theme is 
"Vogue"

Before I retired as an interior designer I was pretty vogue.
I loved dressing up in all the latest styles and had the newest hairstyles and shoes and wore lots of jewelry. I still have way to much jewelry but my style of clothes has changed since moving from Riverside CA to Coos Bay Oregon. Now it is mostly sweatshirts and jeans but I still love to dress up for my weekly lunch dates with my Etsy friends. Makeup has never changed. I don't ever leave my bathroom each morning without it! 

This is my inspiration for this challenge.

I remember the day Mom got me a violin. It was exciting. I remember taking private lessons and my teacher was an older man with an attitude. I didn't him and lost interest very quickly.

DREAMERS CHALLENGE JAN 31ST, SHIPS

"Ships"

Living on the Oregon Coast I see lots of ships.

Many are along the 101 hwy in Coos Bay as you drive into town.

My favorite are the Tall Ships which are sail boats.

Two popular ships that come into our bay have been in movies 

such as the one that was in Pirates of the Caribbean staring Johnny Depp.

DREAMERS CHALLENGE JAN 24TH, ROLLER SKATES

 The theme this week is

"Roller Skates"

In my teenage years I roller skated every weekend both Saturday and Sundays.

My favorite thing to do! At first I was so clumsy but was determined to learn how to skate.

I remember asking my Mother to buy me my own shoe skates and with a lot of begging she finally bought me a brand new pair for Christmas when I was 14 years old.

I met my first love at the skating rink.

So many good memories.

This is me in front of the Roller Drome on a visit to my home town of Nampa, Idaho in 2011

where I used to skate every weekend.

DREAMERS CHALLENGE JAN 17th, BUNNY

This weeks theme is 

"Bunny"

We actually have a wild bunny on our property here in Coos Bay.

A cute very big white bunny that just showed up one day and has stayed for about 6 months now. I call him Herbie.

My two very large Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs love to chase him but Herbie is really fast and they will never be able to catch up with him, thank God.

He has nested under some of the Douglas Firs down near the meadow and each day I see him hopping around and seems to be happy. 

This is my inspiration for this week.

DREAMERS CHALLENGE, DEC 13TH, CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS

This weeks theme is 

"Christmas Stockings"

There are so many traditions for the Christmas Season.

Getting a Christmas Tree, weather it be at a Christmas Tree Lot
or finding your own tree in the woods and decorating it.

 Hanging lights and ornaments on it and beautiful lights framing
 the windows and doors of your house.
Hanging Christmas Stockings on the fireplace mantel
 or if you have no fireplace there is always a place to hang them.

Shopping for gifts, and choosing just the right paper to wrap them in

 and Christmas music which many people still go caroling. 

Then there is Christmas dinner with family and Christmas parties
with fellow employees or friends. 

It is a beautiful and festive time of the year.
 A season which brings out love and caring for others. 

A time we all wish would stay throughout the year.

All in all it is a celebration of the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

DREAMERS CHALLENGE DEC 6TH, FROST

This weeks theme is 

"Frost"

Winter is here and with it comes cold, snow, wind, hale and frost.

Beautiful, yet in some cases, dangerous.

Roads freeze over, grass and plants freeze, icicles form and and then it all melts in the warm sun and freezes again at night.

DREAMERS CHALLENGE NOV 29TH, BEST FRIENDS

This weeks theme is 

"Best Friends"

Best friends are a blessing and a precious thing to have in our lives.

A best friend to me is someone you can trust and who is there for you unconditionally.

Here is the definition of Best Friend that I found on Urban Dictionary

Best Friends are very special people in your life. They are the first people you think about when you make plans. They are the first people you go to when you need someone to talk to. You will phone them up just to talk about nothing, or the most important things in your life. When you’re sad they will try their hardest to cheer you up. They give the best hugs in the world! They are the shoulder to cry on, because you know that they truly care about you. In most cases they would take a bullet for you, because it would be too painful to watch you get hurt. 

This is my inspiration for this challenge.
A dog can also be a best friend. They are so loyal and are there for you always with their wagging tails happy to see you.
