DREAMERS CHALLENGE MARCH 18th, EASTER BASKET

This weeks theme is

"Easter Basket"

Lots of children are excited for Easter Sunday and many

get to have an Easter Egg hunt putting the eggs in an Easter Basket.

Fun to see who finds the most eggs.

Those who don't have Easter Egg Hunts usually have candy eggs but either way it is fun!

My memories of Easter are precious.

My Auntie Maxine would make matching Easter dresses and bonnets

for my cousin and I .

We would go to church to worship our Lord and always remember the true meaning of  Easter and then we would go to Grandmas house for Sunday dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt. There was always a chocolate bunny in the crowd somewhere too.

Happy Easter to you all.

Pioneers have my respect that is for sure.

DREAMERS CHALLENGE NOV 12, RAINY DAYS

This weeks theme is
 "Rainy Days"

I live in the beautiful state of Oregon and in we get 6 months of rain here
Do rainy days get me down? Yes, sometimes they do but the rain makes everything
so beautiful and green and we need all that rain to water our hundreds of trees.
Our tress are harvested throughout the year, cut down by our lumbermen and trucked to the lumber mills and processed and sent to companies across the world by truck and barges.
So when it gets too depressing I just go visit my kids in sunny CA
but I am always happy to get home.
