DREAMERS CHALLENGE JAN 18th "NOSTALGIA"

This weeks Theme is 

"Nostalgia"

This theme can bring to mind many things gone by.

So many things come to mind for me from my younger days.

The following was inspired by the memory of the old rotary phone and my first transistor radio. 

My Mother gave it to me on Christmas Eve and I fell asleep listening to it. I woke up with a dead battery! Lesson learned.

DIGITAL DREAMERS JAN 11th CHALLENGE, "SEA LIFE"

This weeks challenge is 

"Sea Life"

There are so many beautiful creatures under the sea and they are all amazing.

A few weeks ago I watched a documentary on the Discovery challenge about some scientists that had been following a story about a creature that had washed up on shore along with some whales and other sea life with no explanation of why.

 One of the creatures they studied is thought to be a "Mermaid". 

Though the mermaid didn't look like the mermaids we have come to visualize, it inspired this challenge.

 The Navy covered this story up and destroyed all the evidence the scientists had gathered accept for the recordings of the sounds they heard and one quick glimpse of the creature.

So that in mind, I had to add a Mermaid to my Sea Life artwork.

DREAMERS CHALLENGE JAN 4th "AMERICAN INDIAN"

This weeks challenge is

"American Indian"

I have always been fascinated with the American Indian.

The head dress and painted faces and their native clothing and moccasins.
The way they made their bows and arrows and painted their ponies for war.

The dance and chanting they do and how they get their names.

Their last name comes from what the Mother saw or heard just as the baby was born.

Such as, A Sitting Bull. 

To inspire you here is what I did for this challenge.
